Identifying birds from pictures at Tall Timbers

An undergraduate student is working on identifying birds that visit my seed traps at the Tall Timbers Research Station in Tallahassee, Florida. Camera traps are aimed at a perch that is positioned above a seed trap. I sample the seeds that the birds defecate into the traps when they visit the perch. Each camera trap observation is a short video, and there are a multitude of behaviors and interactions that can be observed. There are opportunities here to gain experience with processing camera trap data and the potential to use this data for your own project.

Does this sound like fun? Give it a try! What kind of bird is this?
